Varanasi: Caged muscle man Vijay Mishras son Vishnu used a Panama-based virtual private network (VPN) to interact with his co-workers and family members while on the run for two years before finally being arrested in Pune on Sunday night. After his arrest, the UP Special Task Force (STF) is expected to reach Bhadohi on Tuesday morning, after which he will be brought before a local court.
Vishnu was wanted in connection with several criminal cases including gang rape, property theft and land grab. He wore a cash award of Rs 1.75 lakh on his head.
"The formalities for receiving Vishnu's custody from a Pune court were completed, prompting the STF's Varanasi field unit team to leave for Bhadohi on Monday afternoon," STF officials confirmed on Monday.
