IT management and security software company Kaseya has announced plans to create 250 jobs in Dundalk over the next three years.
The company plans to establish a new center of excellence in the city and will be hiring engineers, technical support and sales personnel, as well as positions in all corporate services.
Kaseya said it will work closely with university partners in the region to train students for the positions.
"We plan to attract top tech talent and build a strong workforce pipeline in the local community," said Fred Voccola, CEO of Kaseya.
“We are excited about this partnership, which will expand Kaseya's presence in Ireland, where Kaseya has its roots. The company first set up its EMEA headquarters in Dublin in 2016,” he added.
The project is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.
“This is excellent news. They really show Kaseya's commitment to Ireland and the attractiveness of Dundalk as an investment location,” said Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment Leo Varadkar.
The company's new center of excellence will focus on research and development.
"Thanks to Kaseya's positive experience establishing a facility in Dublin, the company has selected Dundalk as the location for its second Irish site," said Martin Shanahan, CEO of IDA Ireland.
"This is very good news for the entire region and the skilled and talented workforce that resides there," he added.
