Kaseya, a provider of IT management and security software, has announced plans to set up a new research and development center in Dundalk 250 jobs in the next three years.
The US-based company, which serves managed service providers (MSPs) and medium-sized businesses (MMEs), already has international headquarters based in Dublin.
The establishment of the new Irish office is supported by Government through IDA Ireland.
Tánaiste and Enterprise, Trade and Employment Minister Leo Varadkar welcomed today's announcement.
“This is excellent news. It demonstrates Kaseya's commitment to Ireland and the attractiveness of Dundalk as an investment location. It's also a real vote of confidence in the existing Kaseya team here – I'm sure it was their hard work that gave the company the confidence to continue to expand,” he said.
"Kaseya has experienced remarkable growth over the past few years and I wish the team continued success with the new office in Dundalk."
In the office, roles will be available in areas such as engineering, technical support, sales and business services.
Kaseya also plans to work with university partners in the region to train students for the new positions.
"We plan to attract top tech talent and build a solid workforce pipeline in the local community," said CEO Fred Voccola. "We are excited about this partnership, which will expand Kaseya's presence in Ireland, where Kaseya has its roots."
